Interested in the comments on here and Facebook pages about how we might actually benefit from digby's suspension...maybe so. But on a side note, while looking for something else, I came upon the programme from the Stevenage match and 2 things were very interesting to me. 1, a recap of Steve Evans career... Could have done a job for us? 2, Featured player; Paul digby. The match he was most looking forward to this season: Peterborough away. Ouch! 1. Only if the club would be happy to employ a convicted football cheat. Not for me. 2. Did he say Northampton next?

I have a 1 x adult and x under 12 ticket for tonight and I now can't make it. If anyone is interested I'll take a tenner for both. They are e-tickets so can forward. Let me know...

Really can't get enuthused at the moment but I will be there. Feeling that if things don't go our way it will be a horrible atmosphere.

I think Lankester looks more dangerous off the right with a sight on goal and I think Kachunga is more suited to the no.10 role than out wide.

Yeah, I thought Lankester looked interesting on Saturday. Not involved as much as I'd like but linked things well and unlucky not to score.
Very surprised if Kachunga doesn't start.

I'm going for: CUFC 0-3 Lincoln
Team will be mixed up a little bit, but the usual Plan A will be used. Lincoln having done their homework will know exactly how to counter this and with no Plan B, we'll be one down in the first 15.
A must-win game until we don't and suddenly it isn't. We'll then be reminded how lucky we are - pointing out that a decade ago we were playing Woking and only 15yrs ago we were playing the likes of Ebbsfleet. It'll then be drilled in that we shouldn't be expected to compete against the "big boys", the "in with a chance", the "just missing out" the "mid-table wannabe's" the "lower third grunts" the "bottom half survivors" or the "relegation fodder".
I'll be there in the 3-degrees C tonight - what with me taking on some volunteering work on Saturday's, can't make weekend matches until March. Would love all of the above to not come true.

He could have done, but the time when the stars looked like aligning that way would have probably (in hindsight) ended up a disaster with the state we were in off the field.

I feel a lot less grumpy than after Saturday's game and more inclined for 'Bonner in' as it's a big rebuild of the side that's underway and it'll (hopefully) be tweaked enough in January to improve and keep us up.
In the meantime, I believe we're still good enough to get enough wins to keep us the right side of safety but not enough to feel entirely comfortable.

I am still grumpy but am on holiday and won't have any signal to watch the game (thank Christ)
Its 1 of 2 chances for some points on the board before New year and we have to take it. For me a draw does nothing but a win tonight and vs Exeter will keep our necks above water
Here's hoping

We have a beautiful history of your negative predictions being wrong old boy. Let's hope tonight adds to your tally! Personally dreading this evening and not too unhappy I can't make it. Block C will go toxic with a loss and I'd prefer not to witness it.

Nailed on win for The U’s. Every home game I’ve missed so far has seen us victorious, and I can’t make it tonight.

Honestly I'm dreading this as much as I dreaded what became the 4-0 belting from Stevenage. I think Calderwood survived a little longer, but that game felt very much like the end of things. I desperately hope this gut feeling is just a response to some dodgy food and not any kind of prescience.

For all my negativity on here, I've got a feeling we're gonna win tonight. And we're going to win with a positive front footed performance.
If we don't and its a performance in the same vein as the previous two then I fear for Mr Bonner's future. It'll be toxic in the ground.
But the optimist in me is going for a comfortable 2-0 win.
Up the U's!
