That seems strange to have it tomorrow as the increase in temperature between Friday & Saturday is quite significant

It would be a shame if this one falls foul of the weather, but better to know early to save the team an overnight stay and also hopefully in sufficient time to avoid fans getting half way (or more) to Devon for no reason. It is also a shame as this is probably a good time to play Exeter too.

St James Park, Exeter. Scene of a Brophy “goal” last season. A header disallowed because his eyebrows were offside. Awful performance there last season during our dismal mid season run. Would be happy with a point but should be looking for at least 4 points from the 3 away games here, Shrewsbury and Carlisle in the upcoming weeks.

That seems strange to have it tomorrow as the increase in temperature between Friday & Saturday is quite significant I expect they will take the forecast in mind when they inspect. Depends on how much frost is in the ground at the moment and how good their covers are. Temperature for Exeter during the day tomorrow is up to 5 degrees by mid-afternoon, overnight it hovers around freezing before rising all day on Saturday to around 8 degrees by lunchtime. Hopefully that should give the ground a chance to thaw, but it's been cold for a long while down there.

Has anyone else noticed that the amount of time Harris thinks we were disappointing in the game against Orient at home has got shorter and shorter every time he's mentioned it?
Anyway, sounds like Thomas out for this weekend but Kachunga should be OK.

The covers used by lower league clubs generally don’t take several nights of really low temperatures just because the frost hasn’t got to the pitch in last few days means nothing if it gets to any areas of the pitch tonight my guess is that it will be postponed. The forecast only leaves about four hours Friday with above freezing temperatures then Saturday there no sun till lunchtime.
