Well then. Change of manager makes this a tough game despite them not being very good. Also is it me or do we have quite a poor record there?
Failing to beat either Exeter or Burton means we really need 3 points in this one to stop things getting edgy again.
Think Bonne will come in for Kachunga, otherwise as it was. Sounds like Thomas will likely be back in the squad, which is good.

The Ref is Craig Hicks.. He’ll be panicking if Brophy chooses Saturday to pop one in.

Lost 4 - 1 and 5 - 1 since promotion. After the 5 - 1 last season really thought that was going to be the end of MB as that performance sounded like worse than awful. Rennet’s debut too.
Need a win in this or Carlisle away as I thought 4 points from Exeter, this and Carlisle should be the minimum to expect.
Going by Saturdays performance I can’t see us getting anything from this but with Bonne signing and possibly another by deadline, I have more hope.
Stevens Lennet, Morrison, Rennet, Andrew KaiKai Cousins Lankester Brophy (but needs a rest) Kachunga Bonne
Hopefully Thomas is back soon.

You'd drop Taylor?
Also I've thought for a long while that Lankester could work in a midfield 2 but I can't imagine we'll ever see it.

Also is it me or do we have quite a poor record there? Nope, haven't won a competitive match away at Shrewsbury since 1991. 8 visits since then, but 5 were draws. I mean, I'd take a point over the last few visits that's for sure.

Really tough game on Tuesday night against Bolton where won’t see as much of the ball. Expect Bonne to be match ready from the get go but expect Taylor to replace Kachunga for a large period on Saturday and then Taylor to start on Tuesday. With so many games in Feb I expect lots of changes both in game and starting XI ‘s.

Didn't we try that in the absolute tactical disasterclass that was Charlton at home last season as McGrandles was ineligible. Or maybe it was a 3 but he was definitely playing a bit deeper than usual that game. Although I do agree he has the attributes to perform well there

He played in the 3 once or twice (Knibbs also did) when we went 4-5-1 and both did reasonable jobs for the gameplans we needed. Can't off the top of my head remember which games they were but I think Ipswich at home might have been one of them.

I would hope for:
Stevens Lennet/Gibbons, Morrison, Rennet, Andrew Lennett/KaiKai Cousins Digby Lankaster Taylor Bonne
Not sure if Gibbons is fit enough to start so options open

Gibbons won't displace Lennet, he has been one of our shining lights in recent games.
