Must admit the last few games at NRE have been made to feel like a nuisance by the Stewards. I’m 63 and they want to search me like some kid , so rightly refused, then get sent to a corner like a naughty step if you want to smoke, then keep getting told not to stand in the ever growing hatched yellow lines area…. not a great match experience to say the least, and if I hadn’t been going for 55 years then I’d have told them to stick it up their arse. And no half time pint in the club and filthy portaloos , not very enticing for new fans or loyal supporters, United take note!

I've got a moan! There is a busted drainpipe as you leave the Habbin and when it rains it's like an avalanche if water. It becomes single file trying to get out because everyone shovels over to one side to avoid it.
I was already wet so just skipped through it like a boss so I was fine...no thanks to the club 😡

Yep not good at all, Bolton fans fine and ast appreciated being told they were in the wrong queue, you could tell some hadn't been here before as others going past to the South Stand.
Club should have had a Steward going up the line , not sure if people had gone down to home South Habbin entrance without knowing it was closed
Well didn't get a pat down but trestle table was set up as soon as you were through the turnstile which was adding to congestion....odd indeed !
Really needs sorting out and not hopefully happening again !

I'm afraid we're not massive yet, maybe when we've a new stand or two built we might be getting there, until then expect tinpotism to be a regular.

I think the club owes the fans a big apology for this. Will be really disappointed if they say nothing. For all the accusations of tinpot at Stevenage, at least they had a steward going up and down the queue giving updates. Tonight we got absolutely nothing other than getting drenched. The stewards had no clue and the turnstile operator I spoke to blamed it on fans being too slow with getting tickets up on their phones. There may be some merit in that but that's because no-one wants to get their phones out in the pouring rain.. they tend not to work too well.... but that's missing the point: only two of the four turnstiles were open.
I saw 1 minute of football in the end. Danny Andrew did well with a clearance.

It’s as much part of the Abbey experience as floodlights, coconuts and until recently that great big tree on the common you could see from the NRE.

Favourite CUFC player: Spriggs. Dublin. Pitt. Lennett.
Favourite CUFC match: vs Leicester C (H) 1982. Without that...?

Add to this moan now we have to empty our pockets and a full pat down when are adding full cavity searches sorry but it's totally out of control.Saw a very old guy in his 80s treated like a terrorist the club needs to look into this. Have to agree with this. Unless you're going to do a really invasive search it's pointless, and so it's just a stranger patting me down for no purpose. It ticks a box I guess but it's invasive and unpleasant. When I stand there arms akimbo being felt up they seem surprised that I'm pissed off about it. I don't say anything because they're just doing their job, but if they expect me to look happy about unwanted and unnecessary physical contact it's not going to happen. It's the worst bit about a visit to the Abbey, which is saying something considering the state of the toilets and manner of some recent performances.

Is anyone at the Club paying attention to the details of this moronic clusterfeck that we're reporting? Creepy autocrats in hi-viz harrassing kids & OAPs rather than operating the fecking turnstiles?
You & your lieutenants are piss-poor, Tunbridge. Bet you stayed dry.

I for one am elated to learn that the steward's usual disdainful demeanor towards the club's faithful was not tempered by the elements.

There is a supporters feedback survey after each game to pass these concerns on. No sign of one yet for last nights game

I entered the stadium via Cut Throat Lane at about 7.20pm last night. There were no queues and all turnstiles seemed to be open. The stewards just after the turnstiles are absolutely fine, always the same people, and the lady steward always has a welcoming smile on her face. If I bring a bag they ask what is in it and have a look inside. I have never been patted down and at age 70 I don’t expect to be.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that we have to be violated every time we have to watch some football. This is slowly turning into one of the worst stadium entry experience of the entire league.
It’s even more ridiculous that sometimes I can just pretend not knowing what’s going on and walk straight past the pat down and they don’t even attempt to stop me. So basically it’s all pointless.

We had a woman give us updates every 10 mins or so. Would have been the same queue. Maybe she thought someone else had spoken to the people at the front.

That's so weird, none of the stewards at the turnstiles had a clue, it was a bit of a crush at the front but no one attempted to give any updates.
