Couldn't hold out any longer. Someone around here needs to show leadership.
0-3 to the horrid Chavs.
Respect to Pickles.

IMPORTANT…
Could all travelling fans remember to take 50p each for the electricity meter?
Oh, and, I’m with the dear Father. We’ll be beasted 3-0 by Satan’s offspring. There will be a humongous MB meltdown.
I shall still be attending however.

Neither of you dear boys will encounter me in our shared misery, unless you intend to join me on the home terrace, where I have a ticket from December: a one-man Priest Firm holding out against Satan.

I shall miss the beery fumes from your breath, which have done much this season to tranquillize me from the insufferable shite on the pitch that dominates my optical field.

There will be a humongous MB meltdown. I shall still be attending however. I'm picturing Steve Evans pressing the emergency button on a card meter just before kick-off. I was too ill to go last time, but I kept the ticket, so the delay worked out for me. Furthermore, I hope we work out a way to beat them. All points gratefully received.

Do we know if the EFL took any disciplinary action against them for the farcical way they dealt with the original tie?

That could be quite interesting, interpretation of the laws can often be different across nationalities. Obviously not in the professional game, and it was quite a while ago, but I played in a match which was refereed by an American; a number of decisions were 'interesting' to say the least, the one that stood out most was when the goalkeeper caught a corner, under no pressure from anyone else and, as keepers so often do, fell to his knees when he had caught the ball. Ref blew his whistle, bemusing everyone, took the ball off the keeper and when everyone had left the penalty area dropped it at the keeper's feet and shouted 'Play ball'!

3-2 to the Mighty U's. Hat trick for someone, possibly KaiKai. Kill them on the counter, that's if Cousins etc forget to dilly dally on the ball. If they still do, then 2 -0 to them

Christ, imagine being a septic and having to come over here and referee a Steve Evans side.

Be amazed (and very disappointed) if Digby doesn't return for this one. Think we'll probably put Bonne in too. Maybe even an Ibsen Rossi wild card & switch to 3-5-2, who knows. Think we'll go with something like:
Stevens
Gibbons Bennett Morrison Andrew
Cousins
Kaikai Digby Thomas Brophy
Bonne
Maybe a Portsmouth-style central runout for Lankester in the middle instead of Thomas.
Whatever we do, I think we'll probably lose but am not totally pessimistic about nabbing a result.

I think we’ll loose but out of the Pish, this and Bolton away fixtures, Stevenage is the one where I’m the least least optimistic. Think we might score.
Northampton at home is where the season starts.
