I don't think relegation changes much of my released list either. Probably makes me even more desperate to get rid of some tbh.
Hopefully we get a better balance to our side next season, lower the age profile, sign fewer injury riddled players and/or players on the slide, and have more quality in depth.
Easy...
Last summer felt a bit lazy in retrospect. The one year deals make it feel it a bit short term to me as though there wasn't much of a plan...I'm sure there was tbf, but I don't think it's played out as intended. January was haphazard, chaotic and poorly executed. The injuries to Fejiri and Gassan meant we had to sign cover for them and resulted in us not strengthening in areas that would have needed it more (midfield and wide areas).
Last year our January business kept us up. This year if we go down it's because mitigating factors meant we didn't/couldn't do what was needed.
I'm rambling now. Point is I'm glad we still have links to Mick George because we need a lot of skips for all the binned footballers I want to see this summer.

Dunk, Morrison, Kachunga - then I think Brophy offers something that would be hard to replace, we just shouldn't build a squad that relies on that for 46 games a season - so I would understand if it's a sort of Hannant situation where we offer reduced terms and gamble on an upgrade without worrying too much about him leaving if he doesn't accept.

Keep:
Stevens Mannion Lennett Andrew Morrison Rennett (I like him and maybe he becomes a bit-part player for us, or we play 3 at the back with him, morro & rossi) Rossi Digby Thomas (only as he is contracted) Lankester Ahadme Dunk (Monk out if no contract)
Try to sell/offload: Okedina Simper May
Loan / Bring into Squad Yearn Jobe Hoddle McConnell Akanbi Beckett Chadwick
Release: Taylor (unless he wants to stay and plays like he did in other games) Kachunga Bonne (need to see improvement so could well stay) Cousins Kaikai Okenabirhie Haunstrup Brophy Janneh Gibbons (unless he plays like he did v Pompey and maybe have to fight with LB)

Being relegated wouldn't change much for who I'd want to keep or not, except I'd actually look to retain Janneh if we went down.

Chances are we'd be in for a pretty tedious season of regrouping and mixing around 8-15th so we'd need the sorts of players that might actually threaten us with some entertainment.

Entertainment. What is entertainment? I think it's a pneumatic drill and ripped up concrete.

On a serious note let them all go bar the youngsters of the squad these pros are nt good enough I also add Corr and Betsy into that aswell and those that recruited this current crop.
