I think we’ll see some changes even though options are very limited. Gibbons to come in at RB. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Lennett move into midfield, sacrificing a striker. Jack moving into the free role behind Taylor and giving us an extra man in midfield out of procession.

One of the things that comes to mind, reading all the suggestions of potential line ups is that none of our 3 (4?) managers this season has seen enough of the likes of Okedina or Rossi especially to suggest they are a better option than Morro and Rennett. Both probably keep their place because of their experience - and Morro because he is captain.
Maybe when Monk has a good look in training he might have a different opinion, but if he sticks with our experienced duo in a 4 man defence, that tells us (what we already know really!) that there is nothing better in the squad to replace those who hold the shirt. Same goes for May in midfield, and all of the youngsters that everyone is clamouring for because they are doing well in non-league football.

If they can't be pushing for a start this season then being blunt they have to be moved on. I think Okedina has been unlucky and was actually in the team during the games we won under Harris in December. If only Cousins was dropped every time he makes a clanger. Rossi has not started a game this season if Im right bar maybe the Trophy. May hasn't looked the same since his injury. If they don't feature in the run in then as you say its 3 managers plus Corr that haven't really trusted/fancied them.

It may get worse before it gets better, but with the Wycombe game moved we now have 3 home games in the last 5 and 2 in the last 3. Even if we’re in the drop zone by then with Gassan and Fej back a big finish might not be beyond us. I think we need to drop into the relegation zone before the last game of the season just to get that last game of the season 'Promotion' feeling. Hopeing that Fleetwood can put together a decent run of results beating Peterbough to stop them getting promotion only to fail to beat Burton on the last game of the season, while we get our inevitable away win at Port Vale and leapfrog over Fleetwood at around 16.40 on the 27th April, to finish 20th, and just to make it a little bit more exciting can we stay up on goal difference and not by a point this year.

This is definitely true to a degree, but I also think it's not really their "fault" that they have 2 players ahead of them who, with all due respect to Okedina & Ibsen Rossi, have far, far greater pedigree, even at the ages they're at. It also doesn't help that neither of them seem to be able to stay fit for more than 5 minutes at a time. Ibsen Rossi had earned his shot last season, and then got injured for 4 months. Okedina hasn't been available to Monk in his first 2 games.

I'm convinced Monk will park the bus (5-4-1) at Reading and I would totally get that. 1 point is better than 0 points etc etc.

Asked a Reading fan on another forum who's part of the protest group if there was any chance they were planning to disrupt/suspend another match (tongue in cheek). Yesterday he said "no chance".
This morning he added "24 hours is a long time. Who knows now."
