Stevens injured
But better news:
Meanwhile, Monk confirmed that Harrison Dunk, Glenn McConnell and Saikou Janneh are all scheduled to return from their long-term injuries around the final week of the season.
In contrast, Fejiri Okenabirhie, Gassan Ahadme, Lewis Simper, Kai Yearn and George Hoddle have all taken a full part in training over the last few days and are in contention for a place in the squad that travels to Barnsley tomorrow.

That sounds like no Dunk then this season. Got to be a danger of him hanging up his boots over the Summer or not being extended, might start stocking up on tissues.

I would hope that if he decides to hang up his boots or is going to be released it is done before the end of the season so that he could get acknowledged at the Derby game

On the other hand: stage is set for an injury-time winner from a corner against Vale to keep us in the division.

Looks like Morrison didn't train during the sponsors day/lunch, so wonder if the CB injury that has caused Jobe to be recalled is actually him?

I'm not sure whether it's just my perception, but it feels like we had a tough year last year with injuries, but this year seems even worse, considering the long spells out for Gassan, Fej, Dunk, Rossi, Janneh, Thomas, Haunstrup, and McConnell and the intermittent spells out for Cousins, Okedina, Stevens (now his second spell out), KaiKai, and Kachunga.
Of our regular first teamers, only really Lennett, Rennett, Morrison, Digby and Brophy don't seemed to have missed much of the season. Say what you like about how they're being coached, but that lack of regular availability can't be helping.
Is that a problem with the players, or the physio department (or both)?

Strang's fault, obviously. That's why we're waterboarding him in the centre circle when we go down.

Sadly the once great Cambridge Independent is now locked behind a paywall. It isn't enough of a read to be worth a subscription sadly as apart from the weekly CUFC update a lot of the content is very sparse.

Try clicking the “Already registered” bit when it asks for your email. It made the wall disappear for me.
