Beautiful....and thank God you've gone for their original nickname...none of that small orange nonsense.

Blackpool away!!
Was pleasantly surprised by B’pool when we went up for Fleetwood. Sat on N Pier having a few beers and it was great. Long trip for everybody but have a good day out.

It's a reasonable enough place to visit, knowing that you'll be leaving soon. I existing there for three years, seemed like thirty.

6 points off the play offs, so they will still believe it is possible - although their current form isn't suggesting a play off push, just one win and two draws in their last 5.

And only one position left so they’d need both Oxford and Stevenage to go on bad runs too. Not impossible but highly unlikely.

Makes us virtually safe and puts them out of their misery from trying to achieve the improbable if not the impossible. Perhaps the two clubs could just agree on a 2-0 away win to keep it simple.

Reminds me of Southend a bit. It's a veneer that switches off in the off-season.

I think teams have sussed Stevenage out a little bit. Evans really didn’t help by stating on TV that if they made the play offs they would win them.
I’m sure the Blackpool manager is drilling it in to their players that they can still make the play offs, but their current form would suggest they’re going to fall short. Nothing to fear for us, a Barnsley type performance should see us return home with something.

Happens to his teams fairly frequently. Start well then get knackered & also worked out a bit the second time round they play teams. Also I suspect he's an absolute prick to play for when the team's not doing as well.

Also I suspect he's an absolute prick to play for when the team's not doing as well. His teams have a habit of falling away after his first couple of years with them. There has been a fall off at most clubs he's been at. I suspect what you say is true EG and that the players start to switch off after a while after being laid into. Can't see them challenging top end next year.
