Someone on another thread said they support the team closest to their birth, home and heart which got me thinking who on here was born closest as the crow flies to the Abbey. I’ll start with Montreal Square which according to Google maps is 1.148 miles away. Pretty sure that’ll be beaten easily

Mill Road Maternity - about the same distance I reckon, although lived closer from birth, in Catharine St.
I expect I am one of many who will post to say that Mill Rd Maternity was their birthplace!

Well I was born in Ekin rd and then moved to Peveral Rd 2 years later. It says on Google 0.9 miles. As the crow flys can't be much more than 400 metres. My grandad took me to my first game v Lowestoft in the FA Cup telling me we would win easily after the first game ended a draw......we lost 2 1. I reckon 67/68 season

Thanks to my old man being in the Engineers, I was born 327 miles away as the crow flies in a British military hospital in Iserlohn, Germany.

What a great thread. My daughter was born at home and we’re 0.8 miles by road, a lot less by crow’s wing. She’s got me beat by about 50 miles!
