Have the mods ever thought about tweaking the number of posts needed to get rankings? Notice we have one Abbey Legend, One first team star and then loads of reserves and youth players. Not even got a first XI yet! Got to put the hard yards in. |

Anyone having problems browsing the forum in safari on their iphones? Last couple of days I keep getting pop ups telling me I’ve won a £1000 Amazon gift card, or ads for credit cards and it’s only happening when I’m on this site.

Hi, i keep getting notifications when someone posts on ex players. Can i do anything to stop this?

I've just switched this thread to the main board for a bit so people can make any fresh suggestions/complaints before we head into the 2022/23 season.

Sorry Russ, didn't know this thread existed! It's fascinating going back to 2011. Anyways brilliant job, this forum has kept me certainly sane and probably alive during those awful lockdown years and I log on nearly every day (probably every day) to enjoy the craic. I love this community (well not everyone obvs) and think as unofficial as it might be, it also captures the spirit of where CUFC is and that has to be good.
One question: I stalk lots of other clubs' fans' forums and on a couple of them I've read a criticism of ours that you have to be a member in order to read posts. Is that right? (Sorry if I've got that wrong). Of course you'd have to join up in order to post but can another person read posts without joining?

If you're doing the results of the season on the news bar ticker is there a way of having them scroll backwards rather than from the first game of the year?

I've now made it possible for people to view the forum without being a member.
Re: results on the news ticker (glad someone noticed!) - it is possible to do it in reverse order, but you can also scroll manually by using the arrows. So just click the left arrow to go to the last game of the season.

I'm just never on the home-page very long & don't need reminding of a draw against Oxford or Swindon months ago, but the last few games scrolling could jog my mind or give me an idea of form. After previously reading a thread and when new posts have been made can it take you back to where you last read that particular thread without having to scroll through?
