I think one thread for a match is reasonable. You may feel your point deserves its own thread, but we've got thousands of registered members on the forum so grouping posts by topic is the fairest and most logical approach.
You could argue that any post could have a thread to itself, but that gets messy. People will engage with a post if it interests them.
Clearly you notice when your posts are merged and might wonder what's the harm in the odd one being left alone, but some topics spawn so many different threads that it actually makes the conversation more fractured.
I can't - and don't - aim to please all the people all the time, but I'm happy with the way the forum works.

What's all this unmoderated forum about?
We have all invested a lot of ourselves in the CU Unofficial Forum and it has been run well but in my opinion an unmoderated forum just appears tinpot and don't see that it will do anything to enhance the overall forum.
Hopefully, with a modicum of irony, a mod will delete the unmoderated forum sooner rather than later.

I have a problem that only affects access to this forum on my mobile - every time I log in to any individual forum or thread I get spammed by auto-links to a host of dodgy websites: games, gambling and sometimes porn. It started yesterday and I have no idea why.
Anyone else having this problem? My tech guy thinks it is a problem with this website, rather than my phone, but neither of us have seen anything like it before....

Maybe the advertising sites were hacked? Don't think anything can be done specific to this site, if it persists I'd imagine a report to Pro Boards would be the best route. |

Am I the only one that is missing an image of some description on these forums? In the top banner where it says "CUFC Unofficial Forum", there is a missing image icon just to the left of the words. If I "inspect" the HTML, there is a link to an image within the element code: img16.imageshack.us/img16/1681/header2012cornerless.pngHowever, that link is dead - goes to a 404. |

It all looks like one post. I think it ties in with a recent update to the app. Does anyone get the same? |

Is there any chance of banning that demoii 'nice person'? He just pisses everyone off. If we applied that basis fairly to everyone on the msg board within a month there would be no one left! It's part of what makes this place so great. Ready to rip into each other one week then happy smilies and 'likes' the next. Just like a family really. |

Have the mods ever thought about tweaking the number of posts needed to get rankings? Notice we have one Abbey Legend, One first team star and then loads of reserves and youth players. Not even got a first XI yet!
