I had a look and couldn't see any such skin, so have created a new one - All In Amber. Have a look and let me know if this is what you were expecting or if it needs tweaking.
For other's benefit, I'm not going to add any more at this stage, but happy to fettle this one.

Thanks Mike. This is (almost) the same as the one that disappeared. The only difference is the banner - definitely wasn't black, but definitely wasn't all amber (i.e. non-existent), so might have been amber with a black outline or somesuch. Anyway - this is much better than the Amber one (for me, anyway). Appreciate it. Mike Osbourn for Moderator of the Year!

Is anyone else finding that threads are no longer shown in order of which one has been commented on most recently? Or is this a personal setting? - if so, how do I change it? (there doesn't seem to be an option to filter the threads by date).

moose - I think it may be to do with Sticky Threads. The moderators have chosen to 'stick' two threads at the top of the football section (at the moment), and four threads at the top of the social forum. After that, they are listed in order of most recent comments.

Thanks - I could've sworn the recent comments were all over the place when I looked earlier. But looking now, they are indeed as you described.

I'd like mods to delete asap any threads obviously started by opposition fans. Can this be considered please.

How come we're only allowed one thread on my favourite world renowned cup competition, while an interview warrants 3. Our manager is wasting too much time on here searching for criticism when he should be tacticing because of the chaos.

I can't speak for the other mods but I try to merge threads where possible on the same topic. But it's not as easy when I'm accessing the board on my phone. If I log on the laptop later I'll merge them if deemed necessary.

Just a note to say threads/posts are rarely deleted, but sometimes merged to avoid duplication.
Some people seem to think that every passing thought they have deserves its own thread! Show some interest in what others are saying and join in with existing conversations. We don't need 10 different threads on people's thoughts on the Plymouth game, or how good it is to be back in the League.
Check your post history on your profile to see where merged posts have been moved. Football chat is never the place to suggest - almost always incorrectly - that your post has been deleted.

Can we add 'lol' to the automatic word changer machine please. I'd suggest David Cameron's dimwitted "lots of love", that would soon stop it being used so unimaginatively.

Hi Russ, Firstly - thanks for running and moderating this forum, it's good that we have someone as dedicated as you to keep it running smoothly so it doesn't become a competition for how many sexually abusive words can be used in a sentence, like the Outlaws site. However, a gripe that I have with it is that thread merges happen too frequently. Yes, certain topics may be duplicated but it also means that there will be a wider range of participation and allow topics to go on divergent tangents. I've had a fair few of my points merged and although it may be related to a particular theme (e.g. a particular match) it is a point in its own right. The problem with how it works at the moment is that once the message is merged into a big thread, it gets lost in the tens/hundreds of other contributions and loses any chance of being a responded to and becoming a discussion point in its own right. I think this puts a lot of people off participating and is increasingly leading to meaningless threads which are completely off topic. For example, threads about particular games tend to descend into completely unrelated discussions after a day or so after the game. If there was less merging, there'd be more threads and more chance for someone to express their point clearly and getting a discussion going. If no-one wants to reply, they don't have to and the thread will quickly disappear from the first page. Just my opinion though. Don't know what others think.
