Has this been given any thought? I can't speak for the other mods or Russ, but I've thought about it. Non-United chat isn't especially common, and really isn't intrusive enough for us to worry about. As long as it's about football, I believe it's perfectly welcome in the Football Chat section. Too many sub-forums also leads to a fractured mess of a forum, which I want to avoid. |

Could we have a sticky for new songs/chants? There's a lot of talk on song ideas already in the 'Atmosphere' thread - having one solely for new song discussions will make things easier.

Am I the only one experiencing this? I used to be able to see how many people were viewing the MB, either by looking at the bottom of the Main index page, which also showed the user names of those on line, or by looking at the top of the page on any of the boards. Now all I can see is one person viewing - just me!

This has been flagged up but, as Smiffo says, it's not a setting we have changed. It's probably a ProBoards glitch, but not one that impacts much on users.

Thanks Russ, I'm aware it doesn't have much impact on users, but sometimes its nice to know who else is online. Hopefully Proboards will sort it.

Maybe you need to do the server equivalent of clearing the cache to reset a counter which has reached it's maximum value. |

Well done everyone, it's taken a year and a bit but we've hit 2000 threads in football chat.
Bravo to Russ for running the forum and to ProBoards for providing a much better experience than the PTV rubbish.

Curious to know why this forum temporarily disallowed anyone to read it without first logging in, but has now reverted to the previous status quo. This temporary situation led to a dramatic rise in registered users - was it in any way linked to that?

Dear webteam - what's happened to my skin? I had been using a skin that was fairly similar the the default 'amber' but showed unread threads in blue and links highlighted in blue, and didn't have the black banner across the top, but now it has disappeared and reset to 'amber'? Can I have the other one back, please?
p.s. it was a bit like 'incognito' but with the amber background.
(Posted this elsewhere, but didn't get a response - boo webteam for not reading and responding to every single post on this forum immediately.)
