I watched Inglorious Basterds last night, excellent film. Pointlessly violent, crazy scenes but really was a joy to watch. I would recommend it but not for the faint hearted.

Now, Werner, I'm gonna ask you one more goddamn time, and if you still "respectfully refuse," I'm callin' the Bear Jew over here, and he's gonna take that big-ole bat of his, and he's gonna beat you to death with it. Now take your wiener schnitzel lickin' finger and point out on this map what I want to know. The scene in the bar is my favourite though.

I watched 'Attack The Block' the other night. A low budget British film about an alien invasion. Nothing deep or anything, but worth a watch all the same Edited for and

I didn't like Inglorious Basterds. It probably didn't help that I saw a Spanish speaking version dubbed into English (which meant that German/French scenes were dubbed into Spanish and hard to follow) Even so it all felt a bit disjointed to me...one minute trying it's damndest to be austere, the next an oddly irritating fantasy with casting that bordered on the piss take (Mike Myers playing an English General with a hint of Austin Powers, Eli Roth being anywhere near it)
Attack the Block was silly nonsense...I'd recommend Troll Hunter as a decent Friday night watch, too.
Last film I went to see was Drive - brilliant. Very 1980's feel about it for some reason (which I kinda dug) and the lead performance from Ryan Gosling was really rather special.

Watched 'Priest' last week, it's only running at about 5.7 on IMDB so I didn't expect much.
Saying that I quite enjoyed it's Mad Max type style and fight scenes. Terribly shallow, but worth a watch all the same.

If anyone wants to watch an over the top shallow and downright cheesefest - watch Smokin' Aces. Ryan Reynolds aside, it's an excellent film and kept me gripped for the whole 2 hours.

I saw Paranormal Activity 3 last night. If you liked the first 2 you'll probably like this one.
I watched in a cinema CHOC-A-BLOODY-BLOC with otter mooks determined to talk and commentate throughout the entire fricking film, which sort of ruined the the experience of watching it for me.
Oh, also I watched Super a bit and while back which is a wee bit like an 18 certificate Kick Ass with the added bonus of not having Nicolarse Cage in it.

Can I recommend Hanna, I watched it the other evening and loved it - stunning sound track by the chemical brothers too.

IMO his best film is Wild At Heart. Mind you, any actor in any David Lynch movie gets a thumbs up from me ......

Went and saw Johnny English Reborn yesterday really funny and i think its better than the first one. Check out the clips on You Tube quality a bit naff because theve been filmed at the cinema on mobile phones but gives you an idea how funny it is.

Like Cage, he's made some good films. Con Air was good but I liked Face Off better.
