Is the second season on yet? I struggle to get into a series when I have to wait a week to watch the next episode, I prefer watching an entire series in chunkathons.

Wasn't arsed on Mrs Biggs. I can't take Sheridan Smith seriously. Not after seeing her in a pasty bikini in two pints...
Best thing for me has been The Newsroom. Loved it and recommend it to anyone who was a fan of The West Wing

Tried to persist with The Newsroom but the dialogue was too slick and measured, which made for uncomfortable viewing. People do not speak like that, certainly not all the time.
I was hoping for a bit more realism.

Breaking Bad, can't rate it highly enough. I've yet to watch any of Season 5 as the way they ended season 4 was so so good and I wasn't sure it needed anymore episodes.+ Season 5 is split between airing half this summer and the rest in Spring 2013.

Flip me. I'd had Breaking Bad described to me, looked it up on IMDB and fully intended to watch it. Then forgot all about it.
I saw a really bad trailer before Looper last night and thought, 'I'll give that a miss', and I've just realised it was for Breaking Bad.
It featured a really wooden scene about not feeling fear, but being someone to be feared, and something knocking at the door. Or something.
I won't let it put me off.

I've only heard good things about breaking bad, but couldn't get into it at all. Found it all a bit contrived and daft.

I haven't seen Homeland yet, it's on my list after Boardwalk Empire (which is amazing).
The new series of Ross Kemp documentaries are good.

There was a really good docu on Channel 4 the other night called Jaws : The Great White Nightmare. All about how the film affected peoples perception of sharks. It made some people want to kill as many as possible and others want to get involved with their preservation. Lots of clips from one of my favourite ever films as well. It still scares me shitless no matter how many times I watch it!

Homeland is superb.
I must buy Game Of Thrones some time and watch those, seen Ep1 and none after that!

I enjoyed watching Game of Thrones but the books are so much better, you may need a few months to get through all 5 tho.

Breaking bad is a bit hit and miss to start with but it's worth sticking with for the end of season 2. Seasons 3 & 4 are as good as any TV I've seen.
I know the idea probably seems a bit far fetched but it really isn't as silly as you think it's going to be. In fact it's a got some really gritty bits of drama and tension. The acting and writing is also top notch. I'd highly recommend it.
