"It's got quite a few well-known programmes on it. I might give The Walking Dead a go"
Walking Dead is cracking.
I'm currently ploughing my way through all 8 series of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I thought you said Walking Dead is cack but you're working your way through eight series of it...
I've watched the first episode. Enjoyed it.

Just watched the first episode of "Africa" on BBC iPlayer - it's astonishing...essential viewing.

I've also been watching Ripper Street, which is better than I thought. I expected another rehash of the ripper story a la From Hell, but it's set 'around' the time of Jack the Ripper as opposed to being 'about' Jack the Ripper, which is refreshing. Good performances by him out of Spooks and him out of Soldier Soldier and it's pretty gruesome, which I like. I recommend catching up on it if you were too busy watching once marginally famous people flopping into a pool or slipping around on a frozen pool.

I caught the first episode of Ripper Street on iplayer yesterday, on a friend's recommendation. I enjoyed it, and I have the second episode to watch when I make some time for it.

That giraffe fight was amazing. I thought the old boy was out for the count, but he ducked the next shot and got in a cracking body blow despite having been floored. Textbook giraffe skills.

Much of that was filmed either in Etosha, or the Namib desert...somewhere I'd been a couple of months ago . Made the first episode even more special for me. Andrew

Watching the pilot episode of The Following.
It's a bit cheesy and cliched for my liking but might just have enough about it to make it watchable.

I watched a programme on S4C earlier about a group of kids who went to the same part of Uganda I went to last July. Throughout they used the very same minibus and driver that drove us when we were there and he was wearing an RCT Homes hat that we had left them. Amazing. Made me really miss the place.

I actually thought it was a little bit contrived and quite predictable, I preferred the episodes in the first series.
As an aside, the main character reminded me of Billy Piper.
