Think the middle part of your post is expecting too much, if it was that simple then I'm sure a lot of football clubs would be doing it. At the moment there is only one (Kidderminster) doing it out of all the football grounds I have ever been to! Kidderminster have proved that it is possible. I think the reason why a lot of football clubs aren't doing that sort of thing is because they are happy to muddle along going with the status quo (if its making them a profit), rather than try and maximise customer satisfaction. After all, it is a captive market, who don't dislike what is available... there's no incentive to try and satisfy the customer any further. I think that is proven by the fact that not even simple innovations are tried (e.g. sandwiches, salads, toasties, kitchen-made fresh soups). I just think the club is missing a trick. Every match day i'm there at a regular meal-time... feed me, I want you to and i'll pay over the odds if you like, just like everything else connected with football! Else i'll just have to keep swinging by Tescos, Burger King, etc before the game and keep giving them my money instead.

I have one more suggestion! The club has previously hooked up with local student talent for various things (e.g. video production)... how about hooking up on the catering side, to take advantage of some free expertise, enthusiasm, and innovation? just an idea.

Food for thought there, alright! I wouldn't expect the same range as Kidderminster, where there are big purpose built kitchens, as opposed to the limited space in our teabars, but the fresh soup idea sounds good and might be feasible. Not easy to get it all right and still minimise wastage, to keep prices reasonable. Good to be asked, though.

Didn't see any chocolate bars & I'd have bought one of those for the second half too... (Habbin) I had a Mars bar and cup of tea what near the end of half time so they did have chocolate but I think they may have been hidden somewhere. Also had a Chicken Balti pie before kick off and can confirm they are very good. The tea however was warm rather than hot so it didn't really brew that well.

Bit of a mixed bag as far as I am concerned ... burger from the end of the main stand was good although I have never been offered onions I have had to ask. However, had the same twice from behind the NRE and both burgers have been awful - the last one was full of gristle and I ended up throwing half the thing away.
May try something another time, but more likely to eat before I travel in future - or use Mac D for evening games.

My cheese burger last week was so tough, I think I'd have got more enjoyment taking it to the fishing pond out the back and seeing how many skimming bounces I could make it do!
Not a fan.
LOVING the big size of Bovril cups though
Curious names to the Tea Bars..... Berry...... Wellard......hmmm surely they should be named after players linked to a liking for food... Wanless.... Coulson....Raynor

Looks like we may have to alter one of those.
I nominate 'ROZMAC's SNACKS'.

'George's Rolls'
Tuck looks good from the outside, but ultimately 'clear you out' and leave a terrible taste in the mouth.

Ha ha! THen goes on to launch a number of franchise catering outlets in the non-League circuit, only to get shut down for betting on whose burgers are worse

The Balti pie is top stuff.
Had burger and thought it was dry, boring and warm, a bit of cheese and some salad and mayo would liven them up, Much like a kebab shop the girls behind the jump can tong which salad etc you want just before serving.
How about mini pork pies? think with a sachet of colemans they would go down ok.

Good: Pies - Great, especially balti.
Bad: Onions - Lack of onions or any salad is pretty poor. Literally just a dryish average burger/hotdog in a pretty cheap roll. I'll won't be buying another one.
Suggestions: Soup - You can make a fantastic home made tomato/vegetable soup that costs almost nothing, and it's easy, and keeps. That and a roll, £2.50-£3.
Kidderminster-style mass production food- Home made. That'd mean I'd eat there every game.
