It should always be 'United' by Judas Priest IMO.

Brilliant song to get the adrenaline pumping!
I saw Stuart Fleetwood in the Fez and he said he was joining because he liked the song so much.

Best entrance music for me is Leeds United who use "Strings for Yasmin by Tin Tin Out" Really pumps up the fans at the big Matches, mind you does help with big P.A and 30,000 fans.

I can't agree about Judas Priest's United. Dirge, innit.

We played 'United' for a number years as I recall, and I never really understood why on earth we decided to change it to the bilge we have nowadays.

IMO, you (I!) want to hear something hard, aggressive and combative before the game to get the adrenaline pumping and the players psyched up for battle. Judas Priest's 'United' isn't that song. Cheesy lyrics and big-hair rock is just not 'fighting' enough for me. I couldn't really see a lot of our fans getting down to some really hard thrash metal/agressive hip hop/dark fast dance music though, let alone some of the older generation, who would prefer something a little more sedate. It's a tough call - You can't please everyone can you? One thing is for sure: It needs to be the same thing every week to breed home ground familiarity for the team. Perhaps the players should vote on what they want? It is those guys that need psyching up the most!

You never know, they could surprise us? I actually think it's an alright idea. TRUFAX. My choice: NSFW (or football).
