An initial five figure fee apparently (and a four year deal) - it'll be different heading into the new season with three senior strikers. We didn't have any available in the first half of 2023/24! We had a £2m investment at the end of last season, just opened a near £3m building at the back of the away end and are a debt free club (aside from some supporter bonds) so I'm not sure what others are seeing to be honest. Worth noting that Jez doesn't run the Club or is the only one making decisions. I'm not even sure he's part of the Executive Group who are the level under Board Level. I know you guys don't like Jez, though. Our Chairman and majority investor are Hedge Fund managers so given their background, I'm not sure he'd succeed in trying to pull the wool over their eyes. Jez has actually been doing a fairly decent job here with the relationships over in the LOI, which we've bought players from and sent our youngsters out on loan there, the Academy has brought through three or four first teamers as well. Not to say it'll always go well because we made some wrong steps in the transfer market ahead of the 2020/21 season but there's been more good than bad so far. How are the summer schools in China going? Their LOI link up is working better by the sounds of it. |

Seems unlikely that we would sign him given the potential fee involved. However, it is possible that he could be a better player now than he was when he was on loan with us, when he wasn't the worst CB we've ever had, by any means. |

It’s not beyond the realms of possibility if Jobe is out long term and Okedina is off. Certainly a surprise though and I’d hope we’d use any investment like that into either an attacker or a young prospect.

Had a great debut, if I remember correctly, then had a couple of bad games and never recovered. I can't imagine anyone paying much for him based on it. |

The Dominic Ball rumour is far more interesting tbh - he can play CDM CB FB so would be ideal in light of the devastating news about Mams today.
If we’d decided to list Jibs then an injury to another player shouldn’t really change that. We either want him or we don’t.

Depends on why we listed him. If we don't think he's good enough then it doesn't change things; if it's because he'd be behind too many players and wouldn't get the chances he wanted/needed, that's a different matter.
