Yeah, not a rice or saka granted but he'll play a part in most games. Probably would against Bolton at a guess but likey Nwaneri would have started that game anyway I'd think.
Anyway, but yeah, it's a bit silly.

I think he has started most games this season? Four out of six league games and came on in the other two

Too early to start a Stevenage match thread but from the away tickets web page for this game, the 2 blocks of seats nearest to the home terrace (the missile landing area) is greyed out and you can’t buy tickets for these sections.
So either Stevenage are holding those 2 areas back until there is enough demand from us to make them available
Or
They’ve decided to reduce the away capacity by making that area off-limits due to the trouble last season.

Holding off on this one for the minute. Might see what the next 2 games brings. Normally would go but yeah interesting to see if theyve reduced capacity. The other Boro ones must go on sale soon as well which will no doubt be a lunch time ko.

Advert for first team physio on club website? New post or has someone left? Maybe something to do with the misdiagnosis of Gary Gardner's injury, which saw him train on and damage himself a lot worse off than before.

Stupid idea??? During some boring play last night I was thinking about red cards and maybe that they are unfair (thinking of the farce of the Fernandes red at weekend which was overturned). That probably didn't affect the result but in many cases it can.
Is there a case for NO sendings off in a game - a 'red' means that player has to be subbed immediately (so if it was wrong with hindsight the team are not penalised). Then, that player is banned for the next game and that team can only field 10 players as punishment. Maybe even a retrospective (day after) 1 point deduction)?
This way red cards are only punished if genuine, and if a player gets a red in last 10-15 mins it is not that much of an issue - shut up shop. But if they knew they would be a player down for whole of next game It could change behaviour and make a red a real punishment.
Probably dumb but am bored today!!

In the cup final you can rugby tackle a player through on goal then?

Somehow that will be Strangs fault for many I know you like to defend Strang, however he is part of the process to appoint staff members accross the football side of the business. If those staff members then keep messing up, such as a Physio, a Head Coach then his judgement is open to question.

If those staff members then keep messing up, such as a Physio, a Head Coach then his judgement is open to question. Sure, although someone messing up on Gardners injury is only his fault if that said person had made the same mistake multiple times and no action taken. That said I am sure even the best of them make mistakes and we have seen players at the top come back too soon etc.. But also, I doubt we pay enough to get great people - look at that ad the other week for sports performance role. Needed a Master degree, experience and a number of other skill but paying 25-27k. Minimum wage now is a touch under 24k. So do 40 hours a week stress free stacking shelves in Tesco or do the same (and probably more than those hours) with a Masters, all for 1-3k more???

Very good point. We're not high payers & who could afford to live near a city where a one-bed flat is £350k+? Forget maintaining a family, which is the stage most of these cadidates are at. But football in general is an appallingly-paid industry outside of the first-team ecosystem with little in the way of a career-path at most levels. The backroom & academy roles are skinflint operations, with mere £1k-£2k differentiatons between lower-league clubs. The idea that anyone would aspire to a £25k job after running up a £20k master's degree debt is bewildering. There are some local affordable homes, though. Perhaps this link could be posted in the advert to encourage stellar candidates:
Note the agent's observation: 'sought after location.'

Lincoln on course to lose £3m this season. Have they got a Chinese academy?
