New video doing the rounds which appears to show Coote snorting a white powder whist at the Euros this summer. Probably best he just comes clean at this stage rather than have videos posted every other day. And I presume there was another friend/mate/pal who filmed it...you've got to wonder about the guy's overall judgement in life let alone what he does on a football pitch.

Slight (complete) diversion from the MOTD chat, but I've just had a look at the club vacancies. Considering the importance of some of the roles, such as the first team performance analyst, the level of qualifications and experience required, factoring in the hours, and likely having to live in or quite close to one of the most expensive cities in the UK, the wages are piss poor. They're pretty much living wage, which I'd imagine it limits the quality of person we could attract quite a bit. Yeah, I saw the salary for a post requiring a masters and thought, #yeah. I suppose it's a labour of love and presumably an opportunity to get experience to then move on to a club that pays more...

Pretty grim, poor bloke. Once everyone has got bored of social media justice and moved on to the next poor sap I hope he gets help dealing with the fall out. Easy to forget there's an actual person at the end of all this hand wringing.

It also contributes as to why people leave the roles and therefore create the vacancies. I'm amazed that we aren't offering a competitive wage. Unless we are and we are assuming the candidates live close enough to Cambridge not to have to re-locate to this (expensive) area. There's a saying out there which suggests you get what you pay for! Thing is though, if we pay bigger wages for off-field roles can you imagine the outrage? "Spaffing an above living wage contract on a first team performance analyst when we could be boosting the playing budget? Priorities!"

Andrew Will be the same "get the gear in" no personality lads who can't watch Nottingham Forrest vs Southampton without 3 bags up their nose, or can't go to the pub without starting a fight after someone accidentally bumps into them who are outraged by this I'm sure.

Some of those salaries feel almost exploitative. How can a data analyst doing really technical work for a club with these aspirations get paid the same as I did ten years ago doing mundane data entry in a no name office?

My intention was just to take the piss out of those who complain about us spending any money on anything other than player wages! 😁

Sums this up well.
The grass has apparently lost his job too, but I'm sure he'll be no worse off for it.
