The other 3+ years we've offered out were Berry and Halliday.....thankfully.

Three and a half years !!! When will we fucking learn ?! When was the last long term contract we handed out that massively backfired on us then? Probably Richard Money.

Corr's is only two years. Two years or not, if he doesn't come back fit and firing we would not have got value from his contract. I hope that isn't the case.

In hindsight it would have been a better move to have signed Spencer last January on an eighteen month deal rather than just to the end of the season, given how long Corr has been out. Not forgetting Uche's contributions, but we would have had cover on the bench and perhaps not wasted a year's contract on Pigott.

What a totally bizarre signing. We now have: Newton Clark Dunne Lewis O'Neil All competing for 2 spots, of which only 1 is up for grabs, Dunne has been excellent. I suspect that Newton and Clark won't be here next season.

Carroll got 2.5 years, I believe, as did Uche. It feels like a clear shift in transfer policy to me.

When was the last time we were signing players with a view to the future? I know we want success now but, if we get things right, we will be building very strong foundations for greater success. Presumably longer term targets identified for summer too. Big if of course.

I've never seen this geezer play so have no idea if he is any good or not. I would like to think that we wouldn't hand out a three+ year contract on a donkey.
Welcome Liam, you don't know any good strikers do you?

Newton and max Clarks ball distribution and goals for midfielders is woeful. They aren't really ball winners. Not sure I am bothered if they go

Jez said on the radio they tried to sign O'Neil at the start of the window but they said no.
Strang made a call over the weekend and it was a possibility and then it happened. So I assume we kept Clark on assume O Neil wasn't available.
