The road systems are much better than Cambridges, great for getting in and out as quick as possible

Toney deal to Saudi apparently agreed for £40m.
Maybe not the £20m payday some of their fans were predicting a year ago but still something between about £5m and £7.5m for them, depending on which sell on figures you believe.
Deal doesn't need to get over the line tonight as the Saudi transfer deadline is Monday.

Much better seeing that helmet in Saudi than getting a top gig here.

As far as I understand it, the actual sell on percentages haven't been confirmed publicly, so we're all guessing. If anyone has a source confirming the actual numbers then please do share. But the rumoured numbers I have seen have been around 18% to 25% going to P*sh, from which they would then need to pay Newcastle 25% to 30%. Even the best case scenario with those numbers, i.e., P*sh get as little as 18% and then have to pay 30% of that to Newcastle, still sees them getting more than £5m. Worst case scenario, i.e., that P*sh actually have a sell on of 25% and Newcastle will get 25% of that, sees them left with £7.5m. That's of course assuming there's no add-ons, like the Saudi club will pay another £5m if Toney doesn't run back to Europe (Henderson-style) within 12 months or something.

Maybe they only had 12% or something as a sell on then. Or maybe he's bullsh*tting. I'm still hoping Toney has a change of heart about playing in Saudi and the move collapses.

He'll certainly have to find a new past time given gambling is HARAM.

Pish sign their second player from Sweden. Admittedly for half a million, but it's just another example of clubs thinking outside of the box. 'Being smart'. Have a rep there apparently. Good standard of player there. Why dont we do this sort of thing?

Good standard of player there. Why dont we do this sort of thing? Jonas Axeldal and Tero Pilvi probably. (I know Pilvi was Finnish, but it’s the same neck of the woods)
