I haven't seen a similar thread regarding loan players so thought I'd start a new one.
Tom Knowles is continuing his strong start to his loan spell at Cambridge City and converted a penalty today. Not sure what his goal total is now but he's scored a few.

Tom Knowles scored another penalty yesterday against St Neots in the FA Cup. He's getting quite a few goals and assists at City.

I'm guessing Foy is back at Cambridge because he wasn't in their team last night against Cambridge City. Anyone know how his loan spell went?

I would just buy one. They can be inexpensive, and straps on loan ones might be a bit sweaty.

Matty Foy bagged a brace for Lowestoft at the weekend.
Wonder what it's like seeing a team score more than once!

Saw Tom Knowles play on Saturday. Scored one very well taken goal and almost broke the cross bar with a 25 yard shot right at the end of the match. Only came on as a sub after about 60 minutes, but played well.

I saw Knowles play a couple of weeks ago for City and thought he looked like a real lively type. Not sure he's playing as a striker either (he wasn't when I saw him) so that's a very healthy return.
One of the 'easy' fixes at United for me is getting some home grown boys in the side again. Having lost Luke, Willy and Josh all in the same season has been a bit of a hammer blow for those who like to feel some kind of connection with the squad - I think it's crucial we have youth team alumni or players that feel like they're 'ours' in the squad.
Hopefully Darling and Knowles are on their way to achieving that. I would like to see Kid Leon sent out on loan soon if possible as he feels a little wasted sitting on our bench not playing,
Andrew
