Anyone going to vote this week? Just interest on people's thoughts. I know some might not bother as we are going to leave the EU anyway. I'm of the firm opinion that we should vote just because democracy. What're your thoughts?

I only wish that leaving the EU would also mean never having to compete again in that ridiculous Eurovision shenanigan I witnessed bits of last night. I pay for that crap from my license fee.

I never understand in this age of hundreds of channels and a wide choice of on demand content how people get annoyed because something they don't like is on TV.

Here in Greece, we teachers have Friday and Monday off school around the elections, supposedly to allow Greeks to travel back to their villages to vote. That's what I heard, anyway.

FWIW, yes I’ll be voting. I did vote leave. I will vote Brexit.
No I didn’t vote leave because of immugrunts or lies on buses. I voted leave because I don’t like the direction of travel of the EU and believe it will eventually collapse. I thought taking the hit now would put us in a better position come the inevitable break-up.
The chronic mistake (in my view at least) was believing we’d have a government (and subsequent governments) capable of making this work. What an absolute disgrace they are and respect to the EU politicians for their dignified dealings and making us look like buffoons.
I will vote Brexit purely as a protest to show my absolute disgust at all politicians that has taken ownership of this and deliberately steered us away from something they (overall) never wanted to happen.
And finally, I think there is more chance of Ryan Ledson running Everton’s midfield than there is of Brexit ever happening.
Which, in summary, says more about the incompetence of our own government that the pros of the EU.
A shambles and a disgrace.

Quite a lot of the problem has been that successive governments have been useless as far as the E.U is concerned & because of it we haven't had a fair crack of the whip. I used to get very annoyed when France & Germany seemed to get all their own way, then one day I sat down & thought they are only fighting to get the best deal they can for their country .( the same as our government should have been doing)
Our governments have been far to weak.
A lot of people are probably not old enough to know what it was like before we joined the E.U. I am
Before joining the E.U it was GREAT BRITAIN I'm afraid it isn't great any more.
Whilst I will admit that quite a lot of our countries downfall has been down to so many strikes in the past, a lot of it has also been down to the E.U.

I certainly don't want this fool of a Prime Minister in office any longer.
And who reckons he's going to put in for the job once she's gone ?
Boris Johnson!
It will end up being a house of clowns
To be honest I don't believe there is anybody of any substance from any party at the moment to take over.

For the first time in 40 years I've considered not voting Labour. I probably will 'though, just hope Corbyn gets behind another vote.

This is interesting because people from all sides are thinking exactly the same thing. Thursday is an obvious opportunity for a protest vote but the big dilemma is with a general election. A protest vote at a GE is a different ball game, but how on earth can long term Labour or Conservative supporters justify voting for their respective parties? Fear and loathing of the ‘other lot’ has often been enough to justify a decision, but these two parties are currently so poor they are beyond justification of support irrespective of the incompetence of the other. What a state to be in.

To put it in a nutshell, stating the obvious.
The country is in a right mess.
Theresa May has had 2 years to get this sorted & still failed.
