And a photo on Cambridge live site of an ambulance having to turn around at a roadblock. So they are being affected and people’s lives are being out at risk. That is being a 'nice person' of the highest order and sums up the idiots involved and their supporters. You can't tell for sure what's going on from that still photo but isn't good from a PR perspective. Certainly not conclusive evidence though of anything other than showing an ambulance (with no indications of sirens) making a turn in the road. I'm sure the photo-journalist would have made more of it if there was more to it than that. www.cambridge-news.co.uk/incoming/article17757287.ece/ALTERNATES/s510b/2_WhatsApp-Image-2020-02-16-at-105103-AMjpeg.jpg According to posts on the XR FB page it WAS turned away but as it was not blue lighting it was acceptable!!! Granted, not an emergency but making it harder to deploy ambulances and make their jobs harder sums up these people. When people leave a note on the windscreen of a parked ambulance which causes an obstruction, they quite rightly get slated for it, yet there are still apologists for this behaviour... Bizarre!

Unbelievable that they’ve been allowed to do whatever they want.
I suppose that’s what happens though when you’ve got the lefties in influential political positions in Cambridge

Cambridge is an empathetic target with its left wing bias. You’ve only got to look at how out of touch it is with its voting patterns at the referendum and the general election. A few lefties orgasming with excitement at their ‘power’ is only going to be detrimental to themselves in the long run. After the election and Brexit you’d have thought they’d have learned, but no, pissing people off and poking the right wing government in the eye with a stick..... ha.... what a tactic..... that’s going to end well! Let them have their hollow victory, it’s all they’ve got left. Anyway, I’ve shut my diary and f*cked off to central Birmingham for a week. I pity those not able to do so and having to put up with that nonsense. Stay calm, sit back and watch it all unravel. Sometimes you just gotta play the long game.

They've dug up the lawn at Trinity College today too, dumping it in Barclays and HSBC banks apparently.
Cambs Police 'are aware', but will not be making any arrests.

The should be arrested and get the rubbish kicked out of them in the back of the police van
I do wonder how much longer the general public will put up with this rubbish

Bring back the death penalty ........for blocking a road? Even by the sometimes low standards set on this MB this plumbs new depths. Yes I support XR's cause - no I don't support the majority of their tactics which are frankly counter-productive. But using them as a reason for the UK to copy the "justice" system used by such progressive nations as China , Indonesia , Iran , North Korea and Saudi Arabia........seriously? Please confirm this was just a poor attempt at black humour.

I don't think it was serious or black humour, I think he was mocking the overreaction of a few on here.

Well, if you work for somebody you are spending a lot of the company's time on here
Stealing a living ?
Don't you feel guilty about that ?
And before you ask, I'm retired, have spent over 50 years working many 12 hour days and often 7 days a week .
