Interesting one that. Type of midfielder we've been missing for a while. Remember him being fairly decent at FGR but can't say I know much about his time at Stevenage, aside from them obviously being toilet last season. Good age, too, and 6'4 – that certainly tells you something about what Bonner thinks has been missing. And I agree.
Seems like a pretty good signing on paper.

Good to see him described as a leader as it's definitely something I feel we've lacked for a few years.
As described he sounds like the sort of aggressive beefy behemoth the spine of our team has lacked for a few years or more. I'm hoping for a more roving Tom Champion type.

Another area we needed to strengthen for sure. Welcome to the club Paul Digby.

Interesting that he’s explicitly listed as a midfielder given that he played the bulk of games for Stevenage at centre back. Perhaps we’ve given him assurances that he’ll be played in the middle of the park. In any event, good signing and welcome aboard Paul.

Well this is all going nicely so far. Mullin and now Digby are two known, experienced L2 players. It is pleasing that we are clearly after players who ‘can do a job’ and not risks. I’m sure a risk or two may come in, but so far a solid start in the market.
A big centre back next please, and a left back.

This side has been screaming out for some real height in midfield for a while, so hopefully Digby will now provide this.
Forget Stevenage, welcome to a proper club Paul.

Here`s hoping with his height he can get a few feeding off crosses from Leon Davies, Dunkybabes, Luke Hannant, etc welcome to the Mighty U`s Paul !

Can play center back an right back if required too. I assume we've brought him in to play in the middle of the park though. We've been lacking presence in the middle for some time.
