I fear the lure of a brown paper envelope stuffed full of £50 notes may have caught their attention. Betting scandal anyone? What a strange comment. Would you have said the same thing if England had been thumped by 10 wickets or is this just a lazy, racial stereotype, based on what exactly?

Purely based on the inept performance of the oppo. If it'd been England I'd have made exactly the same 'strange comment'

Congratulations England. Probably the only World Cuo we will win this winter!

Congratulations England. Probably the only World Cuo we will win this winter! Well done to the England cricket team, it makes it difficult for team of the year now with the women winning the Euros. Here’s hoping the men can make it even more difficult to choose in the football World Cup, but your right there is no given right that any England team should win a World Cup.

That was quite exceptional, a great all round performance with many key contributions. Well done.

If ever there was a more pointless and unwanted series, the ODIs against Australia has to be it. Greed of the TV companies prevailed, for a series even the fans didn't want.
Having said that, there was a chance for those not involved in the 20/20 to put down a marker, sadly none really stepped up.

Good start by England in Pakistan in the 1st test. 209 without loss at the moment.

Nice to be playing away in Pakistan again, following not long after the Ireland women who won a series a few weeks ago.
Interesting to see Livingstone selected, not convinced by him as a test player but I guess with his spin he's a bit of a Shaun Udal pick as well as a Bazball one.

Can’t grumble with the score at the moment. The true test will be when Pakistan bat. If the pitch is that much of a road, then it might peter out into a draw.

Apologies to England (although they won't mind the day itself). I forgot it had started until I saw Amba's post so turned on to hear Duckett's dismissal, then Crawley quickly afterwards followed by Root. Turned off and 'normal'(?) order was restored. Turned on again for Pope's wicket.
I really want to listen......!

There were lots of high scores in the Pak v AU's series a few months ago so ya could go like that, although Pak attack is not their best which could be in our favour.

What a test match and victory for England! Stokes positive declaration setting up a great last day when both sides could have won. What a change to this England side since he took over the captaincy.
