Some people just like something to bash the club with, don’t they? If that was aimed at me I don't know why. Last time around I know it was entirely at Spurs request so it's probably the same again. |

Presumably our friendly against Spurs under 21s on Tuesday isn’t going to be streamed anywhere ? I know it’s behind closed doors but we don’t even know if it’s home or away, or a kick off time. Very secretive for what is a dress rehearsal for our EFL Trophy clash. It was also pretty secretive the last time we played them pre-season a couple of years ago. It's being played at their training ground but that's all I know. Has their training ground actually got any doors that the match is being played behind? |

It wasn’t aimed at anyone in particular but at those who seem to bang on with the same particular moans that in the scheme of things aren’t important. |

Looks like we've got a few lads who would benefit from half a season at Walsall. They just got Darren Byfield in as coach, so that would be a good option once more. Former Jamaica capped striker and Crawley Assistant Manager. UEFA B qualified coach. True, we have just got Betsy, but Walsall can offeer more game time than we have places. They have already arranged a season long loan player however. |

The Walsall thing is a bit off a red herring. The real connection is Michael Flynn & Wayne Hatswell,they have a history of signing players with CU connections. They did it at Newport county (Willmott Haynes ect) they also signed Tom Knowles for Walsall. They are both now at Swindon Town so expect some movement west.

Is no news necessarily good news? Still no word from the club even ahead of the Spurs game. Or even post Cardiff. We are in the dark on fitness updates, transfer latest, the young pros, loans, training ground, season ticket or shirt sales, general pre-season how's it going chat etc etc. Fans deserve better.

We had general kit launch and match reports from Cardiff on Friday. New away kit is launching on Friday. Imagine the club will let us know when we hit any milestones on sales of season tickets etc. CEO has done an update on training ground, stadium updates and badge. The comms are there but it is a slower part of the season. Sticking point with the ground will be getting agreement with Supporters club about relocating them. I imagine the discussions will be ongoing - once thats agreed would expect to see what the new plans for the site are. In terms of the young pros, loans etc. I would expect loans to be sorted out closer to season starting to close of transfer window. Again thats what I think will happen - happy to be corrected. As for pre-season Bonner is keeping things more closed doors/in-house which is the way he wants to work. Not against it but does mean less emphasis is put on results than fitness / training / trialing ways of playing etc. All so we are ready for another season. |
