Do some people actually think we're coming to the end of our recruitment? Jesus effing wept. More than a klaxon.

Hah, beat me to it.
Basically a milder version of Smith singing "whaddya think of Boro?'.

11 league appearances... how many good performances in those 11?
LB has become a real problem for us since Iredale left.

11 league appearances... how many good performances in those 11? LB has become a real problem for us since Iredale left. Until a week ago he played 9 games in the best defence in the league. Since then we've played 2 and he was MOTM in one of those As players we've had over the years and positions we've struggled with there are much worse things to worry about

I don't think he's been great, but I also don't think we should overlook the support he got from Kaikai last night.
From Gordon too actually. There's more noticeable effort but I'm not sure his defensive cover has been particularly great in games.
It's not a huge defence of Andrew but it is a factor to consider. As is that until recently our defence was (one of) the meanest in the league. He played a part in that and it's a level we can hopefully find again.
Midfield is a little overrun at times too. Digby and Thomas worked for a while but Thomas has been out of sorts for a few games and Digby is back to looking like the overworked and overwhelmed player he was after the May injury this time last year.
Nothing to panic about just yet, but it does look as though we need a couple of tweaks here and there.

Andrew has been solid, not as good as Iredale but better than many I can think of and part of what was a solid defense.

I can accept that there may be mitigating circumstances about Andrew's poor form and the reasons for it, but he has been anything but solid!

Started off really shaky but grown into the role. Don't think you can underestimate the lack of support having Kaikai/Gordon/Kachunga in front of him as well. For me it's no coincidence one of his better displays, both at the back and going forward, was when Brophy was in front of him.
The one thing that has slightly disappointed is his set pieces and delivery into the box at some points. But certainly an upgrade on the LBs we were choosing from last season

Out of interest does anyone know if Fleetwood used to play a back 3 with Andrew on the left? He doesn’t look natural in a back 4 and always looks too narrow and slow to engage a winger.

The being "too narrow" is a Bonner tactic, him looking uncomfortable is him still adjusting to the way of playing. Half the problem with Okedina tucking in against Barnsley for the first goal last week

Dunk vs Andrew:
Blocking the cross: Dunk Pace: Dunk Picking a good pass: Andrew Strength: Andrew probably Crossing: Dunk Scoring: Dunk (based on the end of last season) Heading: Andrew Commitment: Dunk Free kicks: Allegedly Andrew... not seen evidence yet though
Regardless of the injury which is unfortunate, I really feel for Dunk. Played arguably his best football for us at the end of last season. Him along with Sam Smith were absolutely instrumental in keeping us up. And then he gets dropped again. Not saying that I'd be against getting another left back in, but the jury is still very much out for me whether Andrew is a definite upgrade.

Covering from midfield on the left is. On the right it’s the other way around. Cover is good but the right back is a problem. Needed a longer loan maybe?
