Unsurprising after that gutless performance last night - clearly lost the dressing room.

A sad day, one I hoped wouldn't come for a long time, but results this season (and last) just havent been nearly good enough.
Thanks Mark for everything. A true Cambridge United legend who answered the call when we needed a miracle, duly gave us one, and established us in L1 when so many never thought it possible.

Gutted.
This team have a lot of making up to do to win me over. Absolute gutless, witless and pathetic performances that have got a good man sacked and gives me absolutely no confidence they'll bother showing up under anyone else.
Thanks for everything Bonz. Good luck in your future endeavours ❤️

You might be right but it gives the new manager a month to assess the squad, tweak the tactics and look to strengthen in January.
Thanks Mark for everything. I hope you return to the club in the future. We absolutely must remain in L1 this season though.

Wow I'll admit I didn't see that coming so quickly.
Performances haven't been great recently but I didn't think Barry would pull the trigger just yet.
A real shame but arguably the right decision.
Thanks for everything Mark, you did some amazing things for this club and no doubt leave us in a much better place.

I am gutted for him that it didn't work out. A Us fan going from the terrace to the dug-out, pretty special stuff. Good luck and thank you Mark.

Brilliant news. Now let’s get a proper manager. Flip off. Most successful manager we've had in god knows how long. Show some respect.

Such a shame for him - and maybe us - that he didn’t leave on a high to go to Rotherham. So hard for managers to decide when is right to move on…
Thanks for everything - it’s been a great three and a bit years
