He's quite good isn't he?
Can he win Wimbledon? Do you care?

Seriously? Do you not have a sense of humour? That comment was only a bit of a banter with a close friend.
The scots can have a bit of a chip on their shoulder but the english are just as bad as proven by the fact that so many people took those comments seriously.

It's like when people thought Lewis Hamilton was being serious about playing the race card

He will be the same as most other Scots, they disapprove of the English. He hardly disagreed with the comments after he said them. 'I do not care if they win or lose' is hardly withdrawing his comments and giving support for his fellow Brits. He might of been joking, I don't know him personally, however from my Scottish friends, the 'Anyone but England' comment is certainly true! Anyway its all about the lady's tennis! everyjoe.com/technology/maria-sharapova-signed-by-sony-ericsson/

I like him. I don't think he'll win it. It bores me when people say he's British when he wins and Scottish when he loses. I don't care where he's from, I'd still like watching him even if he was from France/Spain/wherever. And I think he's got quite a dry sense of humour, which some people read as dour. His brother Jamie went to school in Cambridge for a bit dontcha know.
