Finally got myself a XBox controller thingy for the PC and bought a copy of Assasins Creed 2....hurrah! Works like a charm.
I remember thinking the first one was cool but I'm a bit bored so far because I haven't got any weapons so can't go around randomly slitting throats no reason.

'Nobody but us Chickens' (Z-Man Games) takes rock paper scissors to a new level and combines it with poker in a simple little card game that has a lot of depth. Ages 8+, 30-45 minutes a game, 3-6 players. A real gem and a great present for young folk as you will enjoy the game too!
Nine cards each for up to six players (fifty four cards). They will see a lot of action so I recommend 50-100 clear protective card sleeves.

I used to play sim city loads when younger... (along with the civ and FM games) shame that sim city has never really been upgraded.

From what I've seen of the new Sim City it looks very good, I'm looking forward to playing it especially as us veteran games had been waiting for a new (proper) Sim City game for a long while now.
One downside however, is that the game requires a permanent Internet connection to be able to play it. Whilst this won't affect some it will stop a number of people being able to actually play the game! I wish game companies would stop making such silly decisions..

Anybody here invested in a Wii U?
It's not my type of thing, but was wondering if anybody had one and how they found them to be?

Not played a FIFA game properly since about 96, but managed to snaffle the 09 version for 60p from Blockbuster to give it a another go.

96 with Ginola on the front? Classic if so, the only version of the game as far as I'm aware to contain the 5 a side version. Maybe my favourite part if the game ever and it disappeared after that!

I think it did have him on the front, it certainly had the 5-a-side option.

Gone back to Skyrim after several glitches with Baldur's Gate 2. Ended up installing a mod to get me out of the first dungeon. Remembered very quickly why Skyrim is so bloody good when a dragon attacked and I was rescued by two passing giants and their herd of mammoths! Thanks for the spoiler there. Just started Skyrim. Loads of fun. Civ V is just peachey. I like the lack of mega-stacks as only one civilian and one military unit per hex. Really looking forward to the X-com Enemy Unknown (UFO) revamp coming to my PC soon.
