It’s really disappointing that this is being played so far away. I can’t see many fans travelling for that

Currently 2-1 down at a windswept Abbey to Norwich City, U's took the lead with a wind assisted cross by Brooke Cheal-Ferris that eluded the Norwich keeper.
Weak goal kick mix up by Lauren Webb gifted Norwich an equaliser with the Canaries getting a second within a few minutes.
Looking like a up hill battle with the conditions 2nd half

Seeing as the equipment is already in place, I wonder how difficult it'd be to stream the games at the Abbey? I know footfall is the main goal, but it'd be cool if we could pay to stream it too.

Great to have a Record Attendance of 932 at the Abbey to see the girls this afternoon. Norwich City alas, worth their 4-2 win.
Alysha Stojko-Down getting United's Second at a win swept Abbey. Norwich had better control in the middle of the park and even scored direct from a corner in the swirling conditions !
Despite the result and enjoyable game.

I enjoyed that yesterday afternoon, a good effort from both teams. Norwich apparently unbeaten in the league this season and they looked a decent side, and we made a decent game of it. Storm Kathleen (or its remnants at any rate) assisted once for each side, our first goal and Norwich's last goal, both heavily wind assisted into the NRE net.
It was the first time I'd been to see the women's team yesterday, and it came a few days after the 42nd anniversary of my first game at the Abbey, which, bizarrely, was also against Norwich City. Great to see a number of familiar faces STH's taking advantage of the opportunity to go as well.

Sound victory for the girls this afternoon with further goals from the hardworking Harley-Jean Simpson and Super sub Ruth Fox for a decent 3-0 win.
Hope they can carry this into their cup final next weekend!

In the same division, just got home from watching Haywards Heath draw 1-1 with Norwich-my 16 year old plays for HH. Really good, battling performance but still odds on to be relegated sadly.

Lost 3-0 to a good Derby team from a division above us. Proud of the girls for getting to their first national final though.
