So day one and the usual woeful batting collapse we've come to expect - prompted by Bairstow/Root on Yorkshire Day! Very decent recovery on day two, given Murali and Dhawan shared a half century opening stand.

Unbelievable couple of days with India just about hanging in there. Got to bat last though so England must be favourites. If England had held their catches...

Low scoreing test matches keep you on the edge. Kholi was excellent. England just need to be patient and calm, then build an innings.

India are missing Bumrah and Kumar from the bowling attack, and it shows. Hopefully will be back for Lords.

It's been a great test so far, either side could be comfortably ahead but the dropped catches and India battling hard towards the back end of their innings have set up what should be a cracker. Bollocks, Root out again!

If we can get a 200 lead could be interesting!

Don't think it gonna be a 5 dayer. Certainly going to be a tense last day.

Whatever happens in the morning it will have been an incredible test match-so many twists and turns. As an India fan I am pissed off that only Kohli has stood up to be counted with the bat-memories of Gavaskar and Tendulkar holding the team together in years gone by.
Massive respect to Curran by the way-superb.

Who says test match cricket is dead - a great example that a match doesn't have to be high scoring to be captivating!

Kohli stays, they win. Kohli doesn’t, we win. Yah?

Probably not quite as simplistic as that. One has been skittled already, there are three bowlers amongst the last four and good old Kohli could be marooned the other end. The wonga really should be on England.....

Huge credit to England for sticking at it. Lots of thinking for India to do before Thursday.
